‘Returning to Love: Celebrating our gifts!’
An afternoon of fun & inspiration

New Delhi, 11 January 2024: Returning to Love, the one-of-a-kind event, ushers in the new year in a magical afternoon of celebrating our unique gifts – our talents that contribute to a collective experience of joy, meaning, and connection.

An initiative of VOYCE, the 9th edition of Returning to Love comes to you in collaboration with Piano Man at its state-of-the-art new venue at Eldeco Centre in New Delhi on Sunday, 14 January 2024 from 12:30 – 3:30 PM.

Reflecting on the special event, Anika Singh, Social Artist, Founder of VOYCE & Returning to Love, said, “Each one of us is special. We are all endowed with ‘gifts’ – things that bring us joy, give meaning to our life, and foster connection. It is a question of tapping into our unique capabilities. People who live and celebrate their gifts find it easier to operate from a place of love!”

“Be prepared for a transformative journey where every performance, every act creates an atmosphere of celebration and reflection. Whether you’re a performer or audience, ‘Returning to Love’ promises an unforgettable experience that will leave you singing, dancing, and embracing the uniqueness of your own gifts,” she added.

From dance routines, musical performances, theatre to side-splitting comedic acts, emotionally charged poetry, and interactive workshops – the event is a showcase of the incredible gifts within our midst. This edition of returning to love is all about honouring, sharing and celebrating our gifts.

The event features 13 spectacular performances by ‘VOYCEs of Love’ – people who celebrate their gifts: sit-down comedy act by nationally acclaimed wheelchair basketball player, Tasneem Fatima; everyday environmentalism by Utsow Pradhan, Founding Gardener, TIEEDI Forest Garden; magic with lights and sound by child prodigy, a self-taught electronics genius, Harjas Singh; let’s talk money by Kunwar Raj, Founder and content creator of Unfinance; weaving stories by the co-founder of Manzil, Ravi Gulati; musical theatre performance by Manzil Dramebaaz and Mantash band; launch of the new song ‘Dil Sajeya’ by lyricist & music composer Neeru Mehta; self-expression through dance by Saara Parijaat; concrete poetry with artist Shilpi Pratap; shooting. focus. meditation by international rifle shooter Shreya Saksena; spontaneous poetry by Sonia Om; music. PoV. masti by singer and songwriter Befikra Tejas; and masti and kahaniyan by the conscious storyteller Siddharth Maskeri.

Sharing their perspectives on the performances by the VOYCEs of Love will be VOYCES of Inspiration – celebrities who also recognize and celebrate the gifts of those around them. Honouring us with their presence, the two VOYCES of Inspiration at the event extraordinaire will be: Alankrita Sahai, model, actress, Miss India Earth; and Utkarsh Dabhade, Founder & Managing Director at GoaMiles and AllMiles.

Speaking about her association with ‘Returning to Love’, Alankrita said: “Rumi said that love is the bridge between you and everything. I have imbibed this in my life. I have bridged adversity and circumstances by rooting myself in love. It transcends everything, it is a gift which I hold precious in my life. That’s why ‘Returning to Love’ resonates so strongly with me. Let’s spread the gift of our uniqueness, let’s reach out with love. We need this more than anything in our life.”

The event is moderated by Anika Singh, and the immersive afternoon will be a zero-waste event – a responsibility we all take collectively.

About Returning to Love (RTL)

The unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic left many grappling with fear, anxiety, and stress. While the pandemic has abated, there is still an uneasiness many of us feel in this ‘new normal’. As a result, we continue to operate out of fear in our daily life situations, at work, at home and in our relationships. ‘Returning to Love’ (RTL) was conceived as an antidote to inspire people to respond from a place of love, making it their primary way of operating. In 2022, VOYCE laid the foundation for RTL, and since then, our community has flourished, embracing over 500 individuals. Each RTL event is a celebration of love, exploring the very many dimensions of love.

Utkarsh Dabhade – Conscious Capitalist, Founder & Managing Director at GoaMiles and AllMiles

A third generation transporter, Utkarsh Dabhade is committed to revolutionizing sustainable transport.  A strong believer of compassionate capitalism, he launched the first application-based cab service in Goa – GoaMiles. His mission is to create entrepreneurs and promote a green and healthy ecosystem through gradual transition to electric vehicles. He strongly subscribes to the belief that making a conscious choice of love and trust can be the cornerstone of a thriving economy.

VOYCEs of Love

Tasneem Fatima – Nationally acclaimed wheelchair basketball player

An embodiment of willpower and determination, Tasneem exudes a never-back-down attitude towards life, which is evident in her achievements as a wheelchair basketball player. Turning her spinal cord injury into an inspirational journey, she founded the Delhi State Wheelchair Basketball Association eight years ago, earning numerous national accolades. Applauded by the Prime Minister and honoured as a ‘Power Woman’ at the Women Leadership Summit, Tasneem’s journey is one of resilience.

Utsow Pradhan – Founding Gardener @TIEEDI Forest Garden 

Utsow is the Founding Gardener of the TIEEDI Forest Garden in Darjeeling, which supports zero-waste villages across West Bengal. In recognition of its efforts in environmental conservation, the organization has won the SABERA award for two consecutive years. The National Geographic documentary on TIEEDI won the best non-fiction film award at the Redwood Film Festival in California in 2023.

Kunwar Raj – Founder and content creator of Unfinance

Kunwar Raj is a passionate advocate for simplifying finance and travel to the point where it appears effortlessly simple! His in-depth research, valuable tips, and genuine information have garnered him immense popularity among his 100 million followers. As a co-founder of NoApp and a Y-Combinator alumnus, one of the world’s best incubators, he plays a pivotal role in providing start-ups with a launchpad and nurturing their growth.

Shilpi Pratap – Artist and Educator

Founder of START– Shilpi talks art– an art studio in New Delhi, Shilpi’s art has been exhibited globally.  A Social Emotional Leaning (SEL) coach, she works with Shri Aurobindo’s Delhi Ashram. She also conducts workshops for educators for art integration and unveiling creativity in classrooms. Her repertoire includes working with art as a tool for self-realization and creative expression. Shilpi has also illustrated several children’s books.

Harjas Singh – Child prodigy: Self-taught electronics genius 

At the tender age of 7, Harjas Singh started exploring his gift for electronics. He has created several daily-use electronic items like an electronic lighter, remote-controlled light, electronic water dispenser, and many more. This genius inventor aims to give back to society with his innate talent and explore the world as his learning room.

Shreya Saxena – International rifle shooter, Indian national team 

An amazing sports rifle pro, Shreya Saksena, has won several medals in rifle shooting, nationally and internationally, including in France, Japan, Germany and the Czech Republic.

Neeru Mehta – Lyricist and music composer

A brilliant wordsmith and composer, Neeru Mehta is celebrated for her extraordinary talent that transcends boundaries. Her artistry draws inspiration from the simplicity and beauty found in the little things of life.

Tejas Singh – Befikra musician 

A storyteller, Tejas Singh, brings vivid scenarios to life with his soulful melodies and evocative lyrics.

Ravi Gulati – Co-founder of the education NGO ‘Manzil’

Ravi Gulati is the visionary co-founder of the education NGO ‘Manzil’. After graduating from IIM-A, he began his corporate career in Canada. He returned to pursue a hands-on course in Environment Education from CEE, Ahmedabad. Over the last two decades, Ravi has built and nurtured a dynamic learning community of across-age learners. He today is empowering children from low-income groups through education, Manzil grooms good citizens. It provides a community and resources for local youth to learn, teach, be creative and see the world in new ways. Beyond Manzil, Ravi often engages with youth, particularly social entrepreneurs through several leading academic institutions and non-profits. Ravi also co-leads Creatnet Education which has been facilitating the learning and development of all the 1000+ Delhi Government School Principals for Effective School Leadership.

Saara Parijaat – Contemporary dancer 

A dancer professionally trained in styles from multiple cultures, Saara is deeply connected with her emotions and the world around her. Understanding the importance of expression, she hosts a platform to share knowledge – The Life Literacy Publication.

Sonia Om – Poetess

A captivating poet, Sonia Om weaves magic on the spot. She is known for the art of spontaneous poetry, turning moments into lyrical masterpieces.

Siddharth Maskeri – Conscious storyteller

A conscious storyteller, animation filmmaker and healer, Siddharth co-founded Soulify in 2017 after two decades in the film industry. Committed to spreading happiness and togetherness through his thought-provoking and humanifying stories, he now travels across India with his wife and son, sharing their philosophy and creative thought process through storytelling, writing, art, theatre, and filmmaking to elevate human consciousness.
